FAQ about SOLART Tri-Pod

What is SOLART Tri-Pod?

SOLART Tri-Pod is a dual-axis solar tracker for up to two PV modules. Its lightweight, low-profile structure is designed for pitched roofs in residential and industrial applications.

Can existing PV modules be reused?

Yes. Existing PV modules can be retained when retrofitting a system with SOLART. Compatibility is assessed for module dimensions, mounting points, roof structure, wind loads and the installation conditions.

Do the PV modules shade each other?

Our simulations showed localised shading in densely arranged installations during the very early morning and very late evening. We are developing a concept in which every second tracker moves to a neutral position in these situations to reduce mutual shading.

What is the current certification status?

CE conformity assessment and TÜV certification are in preparation. They are not yet completed for the SOLART systems.
