About us

SOLART develops solar trackers with one clear ambition: to make better use of solar energy and combine it with the technologies of the future. It began with a working private prototype. That practical experiment became the foundation of a research and development project focused on a solar tracker designed not only for ground-mounted applications, but specifically for rooftops. In doing so, SOLART identified a market gap that the team is now addressing step by step.

EU funding awarded in 2025 enabled the project to move into systematic development. Since then, new prototypes have been built, tested and refined, while mechanical components have been integrated with sensors, controls and digital planning tools. Each development stage brings the system closer to robust, practical deployment.

At the same time, a multidisciplinary team came together. Structural engineering, electronics, software, product development and implementation work as one to create a shared solution. Our goal is to optimise solar energy and combine it with future-facing technologies. A key milestone was our participation in Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, where we presented SOLART to an international trade audience.
